Rick
Will csg ever respond to dynamic lighting?
Josh
Not supported right now, but it's expected in the near future. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Wchris
The question is probably for Josh ? But with pure logic, if dynamic lighting works on NON CSG objects then all Josh has to do is transform CSG objects into NON CSG ones in a cache directory and use this merged object instead of the runtime CSG. Edit: Oops he was faster than me Quote Windows 7 home - 32 bits Intel Quad Q6600 - nVidia GTX 460 1GB - 2 GB RAM
Josh
Well, you really want a combination of both. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
MisterGravity
I started digging through the forum for the question, "How can I set a light as OFF by default, to be turned on with a light switch? CSG" I suppose this is what we're talking about here, right? Quote I'm sure I'll have a million questions in my quest to master the Leadwerks Engine. Thank you for your patience. Admin
Check the "Hidden" box in the appearance tab.

MisterGravity
No it's not. You can turn off a light by default by simply hiding it. That is of course true, but there doesn't seem to be any connection points in the Flowgraph Editor to connect "when activated" to "make visible, or turn on light". You just have to write functions to hide / show the light Take a look at tutorial video for the flowgraph editor.
