Josh
Currently the effect is sort of tuned towards performance at the cost of accuracy, which is why you see the banding. I have been changing my approach to favor quality in post-processing shaders, and if you want faster performance you disable the effect. So this will likely see some additional adjustment. The trails underneath the overhangs the character makes are normal and will appear in any renderer that uses this technique. I see this in Cyberpunk 2077 all the time, they just try to hide the effect a bit more by not making a flat mirror surface. 2 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
