cassius
I have a model castle that has about 16 textures plus normal maps.In le2 my fps is over 200 when near or inside this castle but in le3 my character won't move at all in a small level with no terrain. If I remove all the normal maps then I get movement.but its a bit shaky. Is this poor performance a temporary thing or what? Josh
If you can post a code example I can run I can debug it. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Josh
How many vertices are in these character models? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
cassius
the number of vertices are 2768 and 8853.I have lower poly versions. The castle and characters are all purchased. A castle I designed myself gives no problem, only 4 textures. Josh
I would need to see an example I can run. I don't see any reason performance would be slow. cassius
Looks like I wasted your time. The castle was far too big. Sorry. Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
Josh
The scale of it won't affect rendering speed. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
