AggrorJorn
I just updated the editor with the latest update. Starting the editor takes about 3 minutes. Mostly the solid shader and the skybox shader seem to be requiring a lot of time. The editor itself is very slow and not usable this way.
cassius
I got the update late last night and checked again this morning and there were 5 more files to download. The editor loaded quickly in my case but when I tried calculate lights at high resolution I still get a blue cast over everything when I run my game.Only low res works correctly on my pc. amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
Josh
You may need to recompile your game so it loads correctly. My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
shadmar
I have the same after update, editor runs veeery slow. ~ 3 minutes to start then 0.1 fps. HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
beo6
No problems here with the editor. Only when i enable realtime Render i notice a bit of a slowdown compared to before the update but not so much that many people would notice it i suppose. cassius
For me the editor loads in a few seconds. I don't know framerate but seems ok. Have you got the very latest update? EDIT fps in editor 176 amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
beo6
i got the latest update. The updater says 0 files to update. I think the bit of slowdown comes from some forgotten debug code still enabled. See my other bugreport. So i don't care much about it at the moment.
YouGroove
I restarted LE3 and with darkness on my not so bad laptop : 80-90 when only some model and some BSP visible. 14-19 FPS when viewing all the scene from far. Stop toying and make games
AggrorJorn
Renaming Leadwerks, exe to Leadwerks1.exe and Leadwerks.cfg to Leadwerks1.cfg Brings everything up to speed. Wierd. That's the same issue we had during beta testing.
neseir
Strange. Got the same problem with performance and did as suggested with renaming the .exe file and the cfg file and then it ran at full speed again. I have a thinkpad lenovo with some weird energy profiles where it selects a Intel 4000 card if no heavy rendering is done or a NVidia card (K1000 I think) for full performance. Suspect the profile stuff on the portable PC is playing some tricks resulting in the really bad fps I got (minutes on loading the editor and 0.x fps after finished loading). Anyway running at full speed now with the renamed files :-) BR Eirik

Admin
Does anyone have an AMD graphics card and Intel integrated chip, or are these all NVidia cards? This NVidia-specific extension looks like it solves the problem, but not for AMD cards: http://developer.download.nvidia.com/opengl/specs/WGL_nv_gpu_affinity.txt
Admin
I guess this one is for AMD. What a nightmare: http://www.opengl.org/registry/specs/AMD/glx_gpu_association.txt
beo6
i have an AMD graphics card with an Intel i7 that should have an integrated chip. However my Notebook does never switch to the intel graphics and has no options to do so and i had no issues so far on it.
