YouGroove
Well Back on platforming game, back to Lua only game. I copied some Darkness awaits character and script, but i had errors and needed eahc time something missing : HUD, sound ... It would be great at the start of a Lua project to be able to tell : - Include default controlled character with character controller with physics (could it be Barbarian model or other) This way you can create a playable level in 2 min, to test your 3D level and 3D art. And begin modify script gameplay of character. It could be some check box , and it would just copy some character and all needed stuff to your new project. Same for skydome : - include default skydome would be great Quote Stop toying and make games
MikeClarke
You could just copy the project awaits project entirely, create your new level and just drag in the character/camera etc. That way you have everything, and you can remove what you don't need to just straight replace it. Do what you can. - Sydney Smith
YouGroove
I tried that way : Take the barbarian : it's script is tied with sounds , GUI bar etc ... It was heel and i loosed lot of time to just find the missing stuff that made errors each time ? Another 3D engine propose simple TPS template; you drag it, you drag a camera, nad ther eyou go you have a prototype running. I know LE3 is not to be some copy or to work in the same way as this otehr engine So let's forget my idea Quote Stop toying and make games
