knocks
The leadwerks updater and my crappy wireless internet do not wish to play, i have been trying to update the last 3 files of my installation for over 24 hours now with no success, I keep on getting a file size does not match error. I have tried setting max threads to 1, tried installing direct into C:\, deleting any partial downloaded files and also tried the alternate down loader in the downloads section of the website. Is this the only method of distribution? Ideally some thing that supports download resuming, I am unable to change ISP as this is the only service available to my location. 3 files to update. Downloading "Maps/deserthighway_alpha.dds"... File "Maps/deserthighway_alpha.dds" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 16777376 bytes, but the downloaded file is 514228 bytes. Downloading "Maps/terrain_arctic_alpha.dds"... File "Maps/terrain_arctic_alpha.dds" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 16777376 bytes, but the downloaded file is 7151365 bytes. Downloading "Maps/terrain_arctic_vegetation0.dat"... File "Maps/terrain_arctic_vegetation0.dat" does not match server file size. Server says it should be 14047360 bytes, but the downloaded file is 2455248 bytes. macklebee
can you not connect with a hardline instead of a wireless connection? macklebee
also tried the alternate down loader in the downloads section of the website. I assume he is referring to wh1sper's downloader. Sounds like an issue that someone else reported here with their wireless where it was causing problems with the download. If I remember correctly once they used a hardline, it fixed the issue.
