YouGroove
PErhaps it's a normal map LE3 shut down, But the game try ot launch and get blocked on white window. The log is that : Vertex shader was successfully compiled to run on hardware. Fragment shader was successfully compiled to run on hardware. Vertex shader(s) linked, fragment shader(s) linked. Saving thumbnail E:/Leadwerks/Projects/competition/Models/New material.mat Deleting material "E:/Leadwerks/Projects/competition/Models/New material.mat" Deleting shader "E:/Leadwerks/Projects/competition/shaders/dynamic/diffuse+normal.shader" Failed to load t Strange it's on the tower PC, it should work and not encounter any shader problem ? It was same problem and log on LapTop ? I think it's a texture problem : Failed to load t Strange as all is ok on model editor and displays on 3D view even if bad for normal map. Could LE3 have some fallback on failed to laod a texture with a blanck one ? Even removing custom normal and model, only barbarian, same problem. YouGroove
RE installed LE3 on laptop : i think i found : .....Loading shader "C:/Leadwerks/Projects/DarknessAwaits/Shaders/Drawing/DrawImage.shader"... Vertex shader was successfully compiled to run on hardware. Fragment shader was successfully compiled to run on hardware. Vertex shader(s) linked, fragment shader(s) linked. Failed to initialize sound device. What is used for sound ? i see no librarie name on features of LE3 or elsewhere ? LE3 runned in the past on that laptop, it seems something is broken for sound, it has been changes since. Quote Stop toying and make games
Admin
There's an OpenAL installer in the "Tools" folder. I believe that will fix your problem.
beo6
The Error i get when OpenAL is not installed is something like "OpenAL32.dll is missing or not found". But you should try it anyway. I know it is a stupid question but do you have any Sound in other Games? Are you using an USB Soundcard? i had some problems with these on some games. neseir
Hi I often switch of the internal speaker on my laptop and uses a USB headphone set (some programs just will not detect or prefer the USB headset and it is easier to just switch of the internal speaker and microphone to force all audio input/output to the headset). This causes the Leadwerks Editor (and programs that uses the LE engine) to fail to start if I forget to reenable the internal speaker again after disconnecting the USB headset (get the same message as listed with just a terminated line in the log file). If started from the console, LE will log some information about not able to find a sound device and then terminate. Enabling the sound device solves the problem for me but a warning instead of termination of the application would be great.. //Eirik
