AggrorJorn
I would love to ability to run scripts in the editor to draw gizmos and other lines to indicate paths etc. In lua we could simply say [RunInEditor] or Something.
Rastar
+1 I think this is a feature that is sorely missing, it would be so good to see the effect of scripts in-editor. Actually, a lot of the old "we need a plug-in system for Leadwerks" would be gone with this.
beo6
Exactly that was already suggested by me here: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/6174-visible-scripting-in-le3-editor/

Andy Gilbert
I use a prefab for direct light and camera parented to an 3d arrow wich shows me direction for these. I like that shad, simples. But also like the idea of OP suggestion. Andy Quote The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do. The bad news is that they do what you tell them to do. YouGroove
Shadmar : Great idea for camera, i didn't thaught on that as actually there is nothing , no gizmo for camera. Quote Stop toying and make games
shadmar
If you also connect a script to the 3d arrow, you can hide the arrow when game is running. entity:hide() in script:start() 1 Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
BES
I agree with Aggror ... and I agree with Rastar a plug-in system should have been added to LE3 from the start ... but we beat Josh over the head with it before and that didnt work.. I think that option is dead Jim.. YouGroove
Plugin system or just open up the editor to allow to run lua scripts in the editor. For example a script or functions marked as "--editor" for example. This way we could extend functionnalities indeed, and indie domain people make specific stuff so customization is necessary. Anyway i have customisation on other engines, just hope LE3 to awake next year for plugin or script system.
