Rick
I can't rotate an object. How do you rotate an object in the editor.
Canardia
You must press the object rotation button to go into object rotation mode. Then you move the mouse over an axis of the object's axis display, and hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse forward/backward. Canardia
He's a coder, so I assumed he has problems with manual things, like using the mouse Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■

Rick
That's what I figured but that doesn't work for me. I put the oil drum in my scene, which has a texture on top of the opening so that's how I would tell if it's rotating, I press the rotation button on the tool bar, then I left click and hold on any of the axis lines and no matter where I move my mouse the drum doesn't rotate. Scale works for me so I obviously get the concept , but I can't rotate anything. I have never been able to rotate with 2.3 but was just not concerned with it until now. [EDIT] The rotate buttons on the toolbar work. hmmm
