ArBuZ
Hi! It might be a stupid question. Sorry if so But am I able to replace framework's layers worlds? I mean if I create one or more worlds and "fill" them with models. Can I assign this worlds as framework's worlds? Canardia
You have two options: 1) Free Framework, and recreate it, and populate the new worlds (or just load a new scene with LoadScene. I use this in gamelib for loading a new scene) 2) Empty the 3 worlds (this will keep some world related settings, so you have to make sure to change all, if they are different in your new world) Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■
ArBuZ
Thank you for your quick replies But what if I want to save previous framework worlds and switch bitween them by key press. Or its resource extensive? Its all about main menu I have a main menu as 3d object and some other additional objects with its own lighting and effects, and raycasts performs. I want to place all this to separate world. And when Esc is pressed switch to this world and work only in it. And when back to game switch to game's world. Canardia
That would work, if Josh publishes the SetLayerWorld() function. You should make a feature request about all features you miss in Framework, since its just the initial version, and needs still more features to be added and exposed.
