When not using shadow i got some 30 FPS If i add an animated or Fixed shadow the FPS drops to 11-15 FPS. Could it be some lot more fast shadow system even with bad quality ? I would prefer Texture projection and blob shadow will be another cheap/Fast solution seeing if we see something better. ---------- Could it be some very low resolution shadows for characters ? Like in AAA game where you can choose shadow quality ? Why not option to have shadows not smoothed with ver low map resolution ? Such Brute shadow dropping frame rate at 50% is too much cost.
