Hmm, I guess I could search through all the object's materials and use some property of the material. Not sure how well that would work. I'll probably also make a thingoid that will expose a subset of the available functionality and let people use code for more advanced scenarios. Or I'll just release the code and let you or someone else write the thingoid for it.
