catch22 Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Since I don't think the editor has this feature, what do you guys do or recommend for it? 0.01 z-axis over the floor? lol. z-fighting is silly, but so is seeing miniscule raises in elevation. Josh Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 I think of Leadwerks, the whole community, as one big game studio. We occupy different parts of the production process. I'm core engineering, other people like Klepto, Shadmar, and others are making useful parts of games, and other people are overseeing production of game titles. So I try to align my development with what you guys need as best I can. Decals are are a sort of extra feature that can be added and used later pretty easily, so that's something that gets deferred until later. I intend to have this in, when I have time to experiment and find the best technique, and it will likely be in time for any major games. I was just curious if I was blind and missing something obvious. Thanks for the replies. I hope to see this feature implemented soon; it can alter the way one constructs a map.
