macklebee
I see in the Physics tab that you have the option to pick a shape file - *.PHY. But it only appears that you can save a shape file when the object is CSG-created. In LE2, you used to be able to create PHY from OBJ's so you could have more custom shapes. Is there a feature that I am missing that would allow me to make a PHY from something other than primitive CSG shapes? gamecreator
You can right click on a MDL file and click Generate Shape and create a PHY file that way. There may be other ways but that's the one I know of.
macklebee
ah yes thanks... i thought i saw this feature at one point... i was trying to do it with mdl's in my workshop tab and right-clicking is not working on those - assume i have to move them to my local model folders Quote Win7 64bit / Intel i7-2600 CPU @ 3.9 GHz / 16 GB DDR3 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 LE / 3DWS / BMX / Hexagon macklebee's channel
Josh
The best way is the build the collision shapes into the model. Just create convex shapes and name them "collision". Then you can load the model and have collision right away without a prefab. 2 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
